Pagnozzi Charities is honored to have former Razorback Baseball Coach Norm DeBriyn
to sit on our Board of Directors. Norm, or better known as, "Coach D"
has had four NCAA College World Series appearances, 15 NCAA tournament berths, seven
conference coach of the year awards and more than 1,150 career wins in 33 seasons
at one school, the University of Arkansas. Coach DeBriyn has been given the credit
for the success of the baseball program. In his career at Arkansas, he was 1,161-648-6
and owns the 14th highest all-time wine total among NCAA Division 1 coaches.
DeBriyn is a member of the Arkansas Hall of Fame and Razorback Hall of Honor. He
lettered and graduated from the University of Wisconsin -Oshkosh. After a knee injury
ended his dream of playing his way to the top, he accepted a physical education
teaching position at Arkansas and was then asked to help coach the baseball team.
Little did he know, he would be the baseball coach at the University of Arkansas.
DeBriyn and his wife, the former Caroline Mock, have two sons, Todd and Marty and
one daughter, Carrie Jo.
